Julian Gray is a progressive and electro-house artist based in Los Angeles, California. Born and raised outside of Washington, DC with a multi-talented musician for a father and a mother who knew her way around the 80s industrial scene, music was naturally the center of Julian’s life from day one. He discovered the world of audio production when his dad brought home some equipment with demo software that didn’t even allow him to save his projects. At 13, Julian wrote his first complete album, creating each track in a single session to avoid losing his work.
Now, Julian works tirelessly to carve out his individual sound by combining progressive, techno and electro-house, in addition to unique collaborative efforts with artists like Mr. Bill, KJ Sawka, Elliott Berger, and SeamlessR.
Flash forward to 2017 and Julian has made a name for himself, receiving praise from publications like This Song Slaps and BBC Radio for his four studio EPs. Additionally, Julian is an online music production educator, collecting his lessons under the moniker Julian Gray Media on his YouTube channel. This endeavor has enabled him to work in conjunction with countless companies and music networks; most notably Ableton, Sonic Academy, Splice, Gravitas, Fabfilter, and iZotope, to bring the best in music education to the masses.
